Wild Olive Cottage

Wild Olive Cottage is very luxurious, rated 4 stars by the AAA, well equipped and fully air-conditioned. It is set in beautiful, award winning gardens, quiet and private, yet walking distance from Cygnets restaurant. The Rising Sun Hotel (very good meals) various antique shops, and wineries. It is situated a minutes walk from the start of the beautiful, 27 kilometre Riesling Trail.

Upstairs is a magnificent, Victorian antique, nickel and silver iron Queen-size bed. There is a luxurious black leather suite, with armchairs, and settee. The open fire is wonderful to sit round on cold nights, (iron combustion stove) and there is plenty of things to entertain yourself with- TV, DVD, VCR, CD, tapes, a movie library, games, books, etc. Within the cottage, there are some beautiful pieces of furniture and original artwork, much from local artists. Of special interest is an antique Polish love seat, made in the 1800′s about the same time as the cottage was built.
